research 1 The Fall

I like the use of slow motion because it shows the movement of water very clearly and the slow motion makes the man emerging from the water effective, I like this camera angle as it gives the effect that your in the water.
I like this camera angle as it shows the shadows of the men and train. It also shows the great size difference in the train and people, the shadows are very detailed which is effective.
I like the use of black and white as it shows the silhouette of the men clearly. I also like the sun in the backround as it shows the contrast between the light and dark, becuase it is in slow motion it makes the pulling of the rope look harder.
The close up of the womens necklace shows the reflection of light when she is turning it and the shadow on her neck. I like this camera angle as it shows the necklace clearly.
I like this camera angle as you can see the location well and also highlights the mens silhouette's, I also like how the sun is coming through the trains smoke it almost looks like clouds.
I like this camera angle because it emphasises the height of the railway and shows the condition that the men are working in.

research 3 seven

I like this shot as it is short but effective and also unusual, the use of black and white highlights the object in the centre.
I like this shot becuase the white paper in the backround shows the bright colour from the tiny drop of blood.
I think this shot is unusual as you can see someones face in the picture and sets a creepy atmosphere in the clip.

This shot is effective as it shows the shadow of a hand but also shows the writting on the page. It is also an interesting camera angle as it makes the page of the book seem bigger.

I like this shot as it cross fades from the writting on a page to the book, this is effectiveas your eyes can see not just one image on the screen.
This shot is also cross faded which I find effective and it shows the messy black writting which is also creepy.
This shot is interesting as it is cross faded and shows the image of the book in which is being written in which makes it look as if the book is transparent.
In this clip it has a close up of someone writting and the image of the pen flickers which I find effective as it helps set the atmosphere.
